Die!

DIE ist es:
Nachdem ich mir schon den ganzen Frühling und Sommer immer wieder Wohnungen angeschaut hatte, bereit etwas zu kaufen, aber nie 100% überzeugt und zufrieden, sah ich dieses Projekt:

Ein Umbau eines alten Gewerbehauses in 2x 4.5 Zi & 4x 3.5 Zi Wohnungen und 3x 2.5 Zi Lofts..  -interessant!  Gleich am nächsten Morgen u m 08:00 konnte ich mir den Rohbau anschauen gehen und war begeistert.  

Projekt cool, Lage super, Preis okay.

Zwei der Lofts (K65 und K67) mit Vorgarten und die 3.5Zimmer Duplex (H21E) mit Dachterasse waren noch frei. Nix wie auf die Bank und angefragt was möglich sei.

Die Bank gab grundsätzlich grünes Licht und ich meldete gleich mal provisorisch Interesse für K65 und H21E an. Nach ein paar Gesprächen mit Familie und Freunden bezüglich Finanzierung (bzw. künftigen Einschränkungen), Alltagstauglichkeit und Sinn/Unsinn einer grossen, teuren Wohnung mit schöner Aussicht gegenüber einer kleinen, günstigeren Loftwohnung mit Garten im Parterre fiel der Entscheid am 2. August zugunsten der Loft.

Günde: ich benötige keine 2 Schlafzimmer oder 2 Badezimmer; für die 300'000 CHF, die diese Wohung mehr gekostet hätte, kann ich auch schön in Urlaub fahren und habe dort auch Aussicht.
à propos: die Aussicht sieht man nur bei schönem Wetter und dann kann ich auch einfach 5 Minuten zu Fuss den Hügel hinauf gehen und hab vom "Bäumli" in Winterthur die noch viel besser Aussicht. Eine Dachterasse finde ich ausserdem eher unpraktisch; Ich hatte zwar eine für die letzten 3 Jahre, haben sie aber nur 3 oder 4x benutzt.

Und wie schrieb ich doch vor 5 oder 6 Jahren schon mal?: "meine neueste Idee wäre ja einen alten Stall / Scheune, Fabrik oder Remise umzubauen"... oder in ein Loft einzuziehen.. einfach irgendetwas, was nicht 0815 ist :-) so wie ich.   

I want THIS ONE!

The whole spring and summer I was searching for an apartment to buy.
I looked at many but couldn't find the right one; then I saw this project:

The convertion of an old commercial building into flats: 2x 3-bedroom and 4x 2-bedroom apartments and 3x openplan-one-bedroom-lofts ... interesting!

The very next morning I was able to see the building site and was thrilled.
Project cool, Location perfect, Price okay.
Two of the lofts (K65 and K67) with front garden and one of the 2-bedroom duplex (two-story) apartments with roof-top terrace (H21E) were still available. Hurry up to the bank to check the options... The bank gave green lights and I tentatively announced that I'm interested in either K65 or H21E.
After some discussions with family and friends about how to finance it (or better: what future limitations I would face), suitability for daily use and sense or nonsense of having a big, expensive apartment with a great view compared to a much smaller but also less expensive loft-flat with garden on ground level, I decided on 2nd of August to hand in an offer for the loft.
My reasons: I don't need 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms; for the 300'000 CHF that I had to pay more, I can go to vacations wherever the view is nice... And speaking of the view: the view can only be seen in good weather, and then I also could just walk 5 minutes up the hill to be at a place called "Bäumli" where I will have an even better view. A roof-top-terrace is not the icing on a cake as I just found out in the last 3 years, when I had one but only used it 3 or 4 times...
And what did I write 5 or 6 years ago?: "my latest idea is to convert an old barn or shed or factory"... or moving into a loft.. simply some extraordinary living space :-)

H21E: 2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, duplex, with roof-top-terrace. a garage space can be bought (costs extra)
2 Schlafzimmer, 2 Bäder, Maisonette, mit Dachterasse. Ein Parkplatz kann dazu gekauft werden, kostet extra.

(K65)

K65: open plan; only bath, restroom and the walk in closet/pantry are separate and have doors. The bed"room" (I should call it "sleeping space") is elevated by approximately 1 meter and I'll be able to look over the tall cabinets from the kitchen down into the living space. An outdoor parking space comes with the loft.
K65: alles offen; nur Bad, WC und Abstellkammer sind separiert und haben eine Tür. Das Schlaf"zimmer" (ich sollte es "Schlafbereich" nennen) ist um ca 1m erhöht und man kann einfach über die Küchenschränke runter in den Wohnbereich schauen. Ein Aussen-Parkplatz ist im Preis inbegriffen.

oberhab der Hochschränke ist es offen gegen den Schlafbereich.

K65: two huge windows will be the only source of natural light, but the rooms are around 3.5 meters high
and the sleeping space is at the back of the loft, so this should not be a problem.
Right in front I'll have my private little (actually quite large: 50 sqm) garden.
Zwei riesige Fenster sind die einzigen Quellen für natürliches Licht aber da die Räume um die 3.5m hoch sind
und der Schlafberich ganz hinten im Loft ist, sollte das kein Problem sein.
Unmittelbar davor habe ich meinen kleinen (naja eigentlich ziemlich grossen: 50 m2) Garten.
